My two cents for what it is worth: fences are a fantastic idea with a corgi, they will heard your cats, hardwood floors are fabulous because they do shed a lot and it is so much more fun for FRAPing, and the kids thing is a toss up, mine love my corgis and my corgis love them. Although they do try to herd the kids. Sometimes this is a good thing.
