Meagan (sable) - Our first - had to go to a wonderful home. She was the queen bee and expected to be loved. She fought our other kids too much. Years later and vet bills (and medical bills for me), she had to go when she got into a fight with one of our cats. Smart as the dickens. Passed the herding instinct test (and Charlie Bear contest) with flying colors and great applause.
Kyra: (tri) Adorable, ball and stickaholic. As of 2/2009 is 9 years old. Not quite as smart as Meagan but pretty close. She didn't seem to know what the heck to do with sheep - walked out of herding ring. Oh, well...
Marcus: (fluffy red/white) 5 months old, a big boy. Our vet calls him a dumb boy but he's anything but. He's a lovely mush dog. He finally figured how to jump on our couch and has eyed the end table goodies. We've done initial training but we're taking him to puppy training and hope to be able to certify both of us to go to nursing homes and hospitals. We're doing Raspberry Farm Herding Instinct test when it's available.
