Hi, everyone! I am from the Ukraine and we have 3 cute corgis in our family😊: Simon, Kim and Fiona
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
We first encountered the breed in 2007, when we saw a corgi documentary on the TV. When we watched it, it has been 3 months since our Rottweiler girl deceased and the house felt empty. We quickly found a woman who had a puppy to offer. His name was Gosha and he was so cute and smiling that we could not resist taking him to our house. At that time, there were only 3 corgis in our city. We felt unique and special, and I, 8 years old at that time, enjoyed playing with him more than anything else.
Unfortunately for us, he deceased in 2008 because of stupid doghunters, being only 1,5 years old, but he if forever in our hearts.
I was devastated. 3 days after that I had to show him at a Junior Handler competition in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. That was some kind of dream for me, and I prepared for almost half a year. And after the show we were going to go skiing in Slovenia and take our lovely Gosha with us, but neither the skiing, the show nor Gosha's first trip ever were not fated to happen.
We still had to go to Slovenia because we already paid for everything, but we spent that month there in grief and devastation. We contacted all the breeders in Europe we knew about, and a wonderful woman, Chiara Ceredi from Dragonjoy kennel in Italy has responded to us. We rushed to another country with out car to see the puppies, and there we felt in love with a lovely girl named Fiona. I was happier than ever and on our long 4000km in distance and 4 days in time - ride to the Ukraine - I held her in my arms and hugged her. That somehow meant a new beginning to us.
A year after that, we got a boy named Simon from the same kennel. He is now 5 years old but he is still obeying like a small puppy :) we love him❤️
Kim is daughter of Simon and Fiona, and she has inherited all she could from her father - playfulness, puppy-like behavior, and her huge eyes❤️
