- I am owned by a 4 year old corgi named Lulu. I love her so much and can not even think what life would be like without her. My first herding breed was a blue heeler/kelpie cross named Beaulah. I lost her after 14 1/2 years. I wanted another herding dog and chose a corgi, I AM HOOKED FOR LIFE!

I just noticed that you said you are from the UP, where at in the UP. My in laws are in Eagle Harbor, Michigan!! We spent a week up there and our kids ended up staying an extra two weeks!!
