OK since this site makes me talk about me.......I got my first corgi at age 29. My mother had one prior to that and I truely love the breed. At 15 she passed and I lost my best friend, which still as I type brings me to tears! So I gave up having a dog for 4 1/2 years, when one day a friend of ours called and said they had aquired a Corgi who need a home. I was working out of town at the time and still had the grieve about losing my corgi, that I didn't put much effort in stepping up. Someone else took the corgi.........which lasted two weeks, when we got the call again that she was back yet again with our friend. So at 10 months old and 5 previous homes later Molly found her permanent home, the 6th with us! At that time, her name was Molly B. Since I could not for the life of me figure out why she had had 5 homes before us, had survived, and is quite smart*%#@, it was only fitting to name her Unsinkable Molly Brown. I will say, as we all know loosing a member of the family is very hard, I have elected to not have human children so my fir kids are everything, but I made it even harder by not moving on for 4 1/2 years. And I would not to it again. We lost one of our yellow labs last year and Molly made me move on everyday by just being there expecting me to be therefore her. Three months after losing our yellow lab, we adopted a Tri-color Corgi named Flame, who has oversized Corgi ears and when he runs they flap just like DUMBO! And yes I have proof, a picture taken at an agility trial. I should mention the corgi's have a yellow lab brother named Gus. The Duck Dog! Three cats and a horse named Patty.

At this time I have two rescued Pembroke Welsh Corgi's who I train and compete at AKC agility trials. Keeper of the Flame, AKA: Flame, male, Tri-color turned 2 on May 1st, rescued from my parents who could not handle him and boy is he smart. This summer I taught him to surf. Unsinkable Molly Brown, AKA: Molly, female, Red & White, turns 6 this October. We were her 6th home before she turned 10 months old. There lose my gain, as she is absolutly perfect, except she likes to talk at 4 AM and is a total smart*&$%#. Nicknamed the FISH, because when we get to the lake you can not get her out. We go to the Lake every weekend in the summer so they and there Yellow Lab brother can swim, swim, swim, oh and now surf. We work mates all have pictures of there kids......and so do I! Fur kids that is. I have a custom mouse pad with a colloge of Corgi pictures and framed pictures of them at agility trials. The make me laugh everyday and I miss them not being at work with me. AND yes I am partial to the corgi breed...........although I do love there brother Gus the yellow lab!
