Some days Wrigleys nose and ears are very pink and others the color is not so evident. He is 11 months old and very healthy and energetic.Just wondering why this would change; hydration, time of day, weather....??? Also I will be trying to clean out his ears with a cotton ball, should I use a dry cotton ball or add something like water or alcohol to better clean the area? Thanks for your opinions!

I first noticed these sores two weeks ago. Since then it seems a new one pops up every 2 days or so, mostly on his back/on his spine but now I have found two or three on his side. They do not cause discomfort to him when I touch them (to clean). When I pet him I notice a scab (ranging from the size of a small pea to the size of a pebble) and it is easy to break apart, also the hair is easy to come out when I pull the scabs off.
