- i have a 12 yr old welsh corgi mix who is no longer able to walk. she is currently on rimadyl 75 mg per day and muscle relaxer mothocarbamol 500 mg a day. doctor says too late for surgery to correct problem . i am 53 yrs old and been lifting her 3 to 4 times a day and am disabled myself. the vet felt she should be put to sleep. i honestly can't do this because she is so alert otherwise. any suggestions? would wheels work for her? she is fusterated because she cant walk the way she use to. i just cant put her down. sigh be waiting for a reply back. roxy is so sweet!!

Hi Lisa,
I have no personal experience with wheels, but I know there are several people here whose corgis have lived several more happy full years on wheels. There is also a special yahoo group for wheeled corgis, but I don't know the link. Please post your story in the discussions section where more people will see it, and I'm sure you will get the help you need. BEst of luck to you and Roxy!
