I just recently moved from Detroit to Chicago! I'm working full time as the groomer at Canine Crews in Humbolt Park. We do daycare, boarding, dog walks, pick up/drop off, AND now grooming 5 days a week! It's exciting to see my business grow and almost be in charge of running it myself (with the help of our staff and the owner, of course!)
I've worked with dogs since 2005, starting out at a kennel, then became the manager and learned how to groom. Before I moved here I was with Petco, and was a salon manager there as well! Lots of management and running places to take care and beautify our canine friends :)
I'm also a vegan, and love to cook and bake. I make vegan dog biscuits on occasion, and Tilly loves them! Corgi and bone shaped, of course. She also gets a homemade pup cake (almost) every year for her birthday! I love her to death.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
I've got myself a chubby little black headed tri-colored Pembroke. She is my baby! Her name is Matilda Bean, aka Tilly.
She loves going to the grooming salon, random car rides, rawhides, fetching squeakers, defluffing toys, and hogging the bed. And frapping, but what corgi doesn't love that?
Tilly is a lot of fun, but is also more laid back than any corgi I've met both from grooming and outside of work. She handles adults and children well, and doesn't care about other dogs much at all! (I really just think she believes she's a human!)
She's officially two years old, and is still a big, chubby puppy.
Haha, I'm taking her to Petsmart today to pick out a new bed. She absolutely LOVES the car rides, and loves being a little social butterfly. Come on, how could you resist the cute corgi face? XD
Hi Kirsten, We actually have moved to Freeland. We now have a small house with a good sized yard for our 2 new Corgi pups. Much better than the small Apt .
Welcome Kirsten--your baby looks like one of my babies. I have four Corgis, Brodie is my youngest and looks so much like your little girls. She is a doll. What great ears.
