Awh haha.. That must have been cool to see another for him! I haven't ever seen another Corgi in person! Bringing Ziggy home was extra special because of it, I think:P But then again, bringing home any pet is extra special in it's own way!!:)
I would love to go to a Corgi meet up, but it's tough since we don't have a car!:P On the bright side, I finally did get Ziggy out to the coast! He really seemed to love running on the sand, it was the most active I've seen him! I was a bit sad, I didn't get to take any pics--we got there and it turned out to be raining pretty heavy lol. We didn't stay long because of that too, but fun and worth the trip all the same!:)
Yes that was Holly and I last night! Holly would love to come and have a play date I am sure. We will have to arrange a date so they can play. I am in Junction City and my horses are on River Rd so I am not that far from you.
I think it's good that she's so energetic-aren't puppies supposed to be?:P Lol.. Especially for a high energy breed!:D I know how you feel, Ziggy really is the light of my days. I love having him around alllllllllllll the time. (Which means I spend a lot of my home time sitting in bed, because that's where he likes to be!)
I don't know his past, you're right and he's kinda jumpy at a lot of things so I hope it's nothing too bad but it leaves me to wonder haha. I mostly try not to think about it because I never will know, but well.. I can't help being curious:)
I actually don't live in Lincoln City, the boyfriend is pretty keen on not putting real information up, makes it tougher for anyone to stalk you (not that I think anyone on here would, but he's very adament on the fact that online, anyone can be who they want to lol.) I am still kinda close to Eugene, but it's over an hours' drive still.
I can't wait to get Ziggy out there on the beach though, I hope he enjoys it when we finally do get to go! That would be a hoot, because I LOVE the Oregon coast.
Zoey sounds too cute, I bet all that energy is a riot and gives her lots of characteristics!
Hey:) Welcome to MyCorgi. I too live in OR, with my boyfriend, we're younger ouselves, but Ziggy, my Corgi, isn't "young", he is four:)
I haven't had many chances to get him around other dogs since he is too timid for one time meets to go well as of now, but the more he gets used to living with us the more he seems to come out of his shell, and he did indeed try to play, so I have hope! (Especially since he has only been with us for about two months after being passed around a bit, so I Think he's doing really well!)
Well I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do, it's loads of fun, there are lots of great people here to give great advice or share Corgi stories with.
