My beautiful, fabulous world travel companion and my heart, Pumpkin, gave up her courageous battle with kidney disease April 26th. She almost made it to 16 years old, and I am heart broken. My heart has a Cardi sized hole in it. I was never alone, her striking Corgi eyes were always looking into my soul, she was constantly by my side. I will forever miss her, she was so loved.

Today Pumpkin is 13! Am I the luckiest, I know I'm the happiest because of her. Of course she's slower but she still hops along for her walk, she sleeps much more and that's when the grey around her eyes shows, but most of the time she looks like a puppy. Play...oh yeah, never ignores a toy, gets each one out of the basket, shakes it and growls. She always makes me laugh. It's a very, very… Continue

I spent the morning baking pupcakes for my darling Pumpkin, who today is 12 Years old. I'm so happy to look into her adoring eyes every morning when she jumps on the bed. I can see that sometimes it's an effort to get up after a snooze, and her hearing isn't what it was, but when she hops along the sidewalk I'm thrilled. She still has that puppy look with a little grey eye liner! This evening all her dog neighbors will get a pupcake & wish her the best. I'm the luckiest corgi mom… Continue

Pumpkin is 11 years old today. Happy & healthy. I'm so very fortunate to have had the pleasure of her company for 11 years. We've travelled the world together. I look forward to many more wonderful years together.

Our fellow member, and my email pal, Florence from Sendai Japan, is reported to be safe with her family and 2 Corgis. We were all so concerned and this is great news.

The animal proved popular with his daughters and was described as ‘unquestionably the character of the Princesses’ delightful canine family’ and ‘a born sentimentalist’. A second Corgi was acquired called Jane who… Continue

This was just fantastic to watch. It brought tears to my eyes, very moving. You really captured the "eyes" of the little ones in the finale. Thank you.
