Haven't posted in some time, so I figured I'ld give everyone a quick update. Luna (aka Miss Tunes) has been doing very well. The last few weeks shes gotten to spend a lot of time with her big brother Buddy due to me moving. Which has actually worked out really well. Buddy put on a few to many pounds over summer (he's very furry and doesn't do well in the heat) so all the exercise an almost 11 month old puppy can give him has done wonders for his weight. Well, next thursday my little Luna goes in for her spay sugery. Was just wondering if anyone had any input or suggestions for making the healing time easier for her?

Well, my little girl just had her latest round of shots. She got her final distemper shot of the year, and I was planning on get here Lyme shot. However, my vet told me that in my area that Lyptospirosis (sp?) is more prevelent, and if I plan on going anywhere more rural that I could always get Luna vaccinated later. So, I went with the Lypto shot and about two and half hours later, after having eaten and played quite a bit, my little girls nose swelled up to about the size of a tennis ball.… Continue

Haven't been on in awhile, and just wanted to take a minute to say hi to everyone. Luna's doing great, she just finished her second round of shots with no major complications. I think it helped that shes now over 10 lbs. She's growing so fast, its hard to believe. She's still as fiesty as ever. I also finally got around to make her a slanted doggy dish tray (helps her eat and not choke). Right now its probably a bit to tall, but I doubt that will be a concern for much longer. Well, after are follow up visit with the vet today (all ok and chest cold is pretty much gone) I decided to go home and do a little work in the yard while my girlfriend watched Luna for a bit. We had to make sure we kept an eye on her since she got her first vaccination today. Well, after she slept for awhile and I dug in the ground. It was time for her to go potty. Well, its been two days now since we got a new antibiotic for Luna. She had a slight upper respiratory infection when I first got her, and at the inital vet check they put her on doxycycline (sp?). She felt horrible on it. She didn't want to eat, or play. She got a sick a couple of times so I called the vet this past tuesday and they put her on amoxcyilin that tastes like bananas. Now she's back to being the normal "evil" corgi that she is. Playing like mad and eating… Continue
