Keith and I just got Penny, 11 weeks old, about 4 days ago - I am going to get her some goodies and I would love some advice! She's been biting quite a bit and I would love to get her some good toys....

And advice is welcomed!

Thank you!

Yeah, the big toys are fun for a puppy it seems. When I first got him I took him to my parents house and he took to their dogs big-giant bear thing with multiple squeekers. (it was huge). So the snake was the next best thing I found back in Jacksonville.

That does sound like a wonderful toy! My mother bought her a stuffed animal - 2x her size - that she has been dradding around too! It's nice because there is nothing to chew off of it - she loves it! She was so cute is Petco today - she's never been on a leash before - she want really sure what to do - I had to carry her around most of the time :)

I got it at Petsmart. I tore the labels off but it's holding up really well. There is a picture of it in my pictures somewhere. Every so often I trim the inside of it's mouth with clippers to get off some nylon threads.

James, where did you find that toy? I MUST get one for Sidney!

Great!
I got this 3 foot stuffed snake with removable squeekers so you can toss it in the washer. It also came with spare squeekers. He loves it, he drags it around like it was going out of style.

Good point - Sidney really prefers the fleecy ones too! The sushi shrimp is fleecy on one side, and he has a little fleecy lamb he really likes too

my corgi seemed to prefer he fleecy types when he was allowed to have fuzzy toys...do you think that has to do with their herding instinct for sheep?

ohh and for the plushy toys- i suggest the fleecy type? Bailey seems to take to that more than say... a vinyl/nylon/whatcahmacallit hard plush (made for really tought chewers).
