Saxon did really well. He slept most of the night and so did we. Of course, we were all exhausted from the excitement. I brought him outside around 5:45 am to potty, which he didn't, and put him back in his gated area, but he was having none of that. It was time to get up. You know, it's amazing the amount of work you can get done when you get up at 6 am on Saturday morning.
We've had a good day so far, giving him lots of attention, taking him out often to potty, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. We have a long way to go in that department. He's afraid of horses and lawnmowers. I'm sure he'll get used to them though.
Only thing I'm worried about is that he has not eaten. I have some of the food he was on and I don't want to introduce new food yet. He will eat a treat. I'm assuming he just needs an adjustment period, then he will settle down and start eating. I just leave it out for him. Any comments on this, did any of you experience this also?
Anyway he is a big hit with everyone and has a great personality.
