Well what can I say... Reese has been a wonderful puppy! She is very loving, nice, social, spunky, and hilarious. On Thursday, July 31st, was the first day Reese finally joined Matt and I. She was a very good girl in the car. Of course she was very curious and trying to explore my car. We finally arrived to her temporary home, since our moving situation was behind schedule. She seemed to be happy with her toys, crate, and overall atmosphere. I was very surprised that she was very quick to catch on using the puppy pads and going potty outside. She slepted in her crate for most of the night. She only woke up once around 4:30 AM to go potty.

Friday, August 1st, we were finally able to get the keys to our new home. She met our close friends who live down the street and their Border Collie/Lab, Katie. Although, Reese wanted to play with Katie... she just didn't seem to be that interested in Reese. It was okay... Reese also had an exciting trip to the Vet. Everyone loved her there and she was all about giving everyone a little love. She turned out to be very healthy... and got her first rope toy from the Vet. She absolutely loves it. Later that evening we began to prime the walls in the house... our friends down the street came over to help out. Reese was being such a good girl... she wasn't causing much trouble at all. Towards the end of the night, around midnight, we wrapped everything up. Reese was still awake... I walked into te kitchen to get something. She decided that she wanted to follow me.... and before you know it... she ended up frapping into the paint tray!!! It was the funniest thing... she had no idea what she had gotten into, but she knew that whatever it was... it wasn't good! I hurried and brought her over to the kitchen sink to rinse her off and gave her a bath. She definitely wasn't excited about that, but she did very well. We dried her off and she felt normal again. So silly... I wish I had a video camera on her! She was a very very good girl and slept throughout the night.

Saturday, August 2nd, was the big moving day. All the guys did the moving and the girls stayed at the house unpacking. Matt's dad came over and brought up some furniture for us, as well as some painting supplies. He painted 90% of the interior of the house. Amazing job! After the long day... we ended the night with a BBQ and a card game. Reese was very content and stayed out of trouble. She was able to run/hop around the yard and play chase with anyone who wanted to give her attention... which wasn't very difficult for her. She is just too adorable. She slept troughout the night and woke up when we did again... *Woohoo*

Sunday, August 3rd, the house is fully painted!! Yay.... Well except for another Reese incident of frapping around and ending up in another paint tray! She just had sooo much energy in the morning and was so happy to see everyone. Reese had the same "Uh Oh.." reaction and so another bath! Thank goodness she doesn't mind taking baths. She does get a little scared of the faucet noise. Another funny incident is that she playing around and ran into the sliding glass door... poor girl. She didn't hit it very hard, but seemed confused. LOL!

So as you can see she has been a great pup! I'll post some pictures up as soon as I can find the camera cord for the computer! Just wanted to update you all on how she's doing... :-D

Sounds like Reese is having an exciting time and handling it all very well! Lily reacted similarly to her first bath, wondering why there was so much noise. I love puppies! They are so entertaining and I am sure that Reese will give you more fun times and memories :)

Aww, poor Reese. Having to have so many baths. Banzai got himself pretty dirty and we had to give him a bath. He did not like it but calmed down once he knew that the shower head wasn't going to eat him.

I am so happy for you and your new place.
