Becky, mine does that too!

We have two cats; one is really old and all three dogs leave him alone. He can walk the floor with pride and dignity, and the dogs respect him.
On the other hand, Pippin (the young cat) fascinates our corgi and our corgi mix. They are forever trying to herd him, and so I almost never see Pippin on the ground. He's always lurking over me like some kind of cute fuzzy gargoyle!

That's how Dusty (our kitty) has learned how to get around the house without touching the floor (from one piece of furniture to the next). With 2 puppies it's gotten really bad, you can see them working together, coming from different directions to get kitty!

I love it! It cracked me up. Sidney is always following Pippin around, just like that. Poor Pippin is going nuttier than usual.

Oh gaw, mine too! My poor cat spend half his life now avoiding Grover. They have SUCH a love/hate relationship. Grover just loves Melvin (kitty) way too much for Melvin to deal with. Poor Melvin sometimes looks at me like "You did this...I know you did! I will get revenge!"
