I apprecaite being introducted to the concept of frapping - how well that describes what had previously been difficult to share.

Last night we had Hillary out with Peanut, our cocker-maltese and Hillary herded her from one end of the front year to the other! (Of course Peanut was not at all happy that Hillary was being so pushy!)

She seems to have a good share of Corgi genes for a Corgle.

The frapping is fun. It is amazing how fast those short little legs can work. Hillary also showed us just how fast she was then an unsuspecting rabbit jumped across her path last night. I'm sure she was just following the rabbit so that she could herd it back, but she just flew. Poor rabbit probably had a strok on the other side of the fence.

My corgi/elkhound also seems to have his fair share of corgi genes. He does NOT frap, but he does the "talking", the spread eagle back, the "lizard on a rock" pose, the herding and the stubbornness. He also skipped the Hoover gene; Sidney (pure Pembroke) will eat anything, whereas Bruce (the mix) is much more particular about what he will eat.

Quinn, a frap session sure is fun to watch, isn't it? If you ever get the chance to take Hillary to a corgi meet-up, do it. Imagine seeing dozens of corgis frapping simultaneously!

Sounds like she got the "entertaining gene". We have a Shiza-poo--who now thinks it is a Corgi...she herds, does the flying squirrel, and spread eagle on her back as well as taunting with toys. The Corgis have been a bad influence. Hillary is a real doll.
