First Lustrum of the “Nederlandse Vereniging voor de Pembroke Welsh Corgi” (N.V.P.)
This is the Dutch Club for the Pembroke Welsh Corgi.


Dear Corgi friends, wherever you are,


In spring 2003 one was only familiar in the Netherlands with one society for both Pembroke and Cardigan corgis.
At this time lovers of the Pembroke breed took the initiative to break away from the Cardigans and start their own society for the Pembroke corgi.

This society became hugely succesful.
This N.V.P. wrote up a charter and private rules and introduced themselves to the Dutch Kennel club (Raad van Beheer).
Very soon after the NVP was accepted en recognised as the only society for the Pembroke breed in the Netherlands.
The society grew quickly.
Their aim is to maintain the breed and to look after the interest of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi..

As the society got established in 2003, spring 2008 will bring its first Lustrum.
The Board would like to celebrate this lustrum with a special and festal Championship-clubmatch.

The date will be: 1st June 2008.

We are very pleased to announce that mr. Tim Mathiesen from California (Nebriowa) has accepted our invitation to judge our Pems.

The Board hereby invites every Pembroke breed lover, wherever you reside in the world, to enter this Lustrum club match.
It will be the more fascinating for it and will increase the chance of new international contacts for the Corgi world.
There will be a surprising welcome gift for everybody.
