Okay - it took having this nutty puppy to make me "blog". Swore I never would but hey... you never know what you'll do! I spent today off and on trying to catch that boy with his ears both up - of course, he'd never do it when the camera's around. One of these days I'm going to catch him at the right minute - until then I'll be massaging his ears to get them to stand up all the time.
He's an odd little guy - shine a flashlight in his face and one eye (the dappled one) always flashes back red. He looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Terminator movies with that one laser-beam eye flashing bright. Course, Terminator would probably be a good nickname for him anyway since he's now terminated the arm of my Lazyboy, two Bobo's (you know, those little dachshund toys in the commercial for Petsmart.. "Aww where's Bobo?", Mr. Squeaky Chicken, and several shoes.

Found this picture goofing around looking for blue merle cardigans, finally a corgi that is the same color as Bailey - even if Bailey got more than his share of spots. Gotta admit this is one pretty feller in this picture. Can't wait to see how Bailey turns out when he's full grown - he's already 30 pounds at 6 months old, and resembles a moss covered log with little legs covered in lichens. Even his "mohawk" has changed - when he was born it was about an inch wide. As he's grown it's narrowed to pencil thin. But... he's got that same nose and same coloring as the guy in the picture so we'll see.
Bailey's named after Dr. Miranda Bailey on Grey's Anatomy. Short, funny and tenacious. Perfect. __m_^..^_m__
Btw, we've decided we love this place. And we want more corgis. Now. :)
