My boys want to thank everyone who left such nice messages about them scaring off the burglars! Just a word of advice, please be careful when writing checks, because we think the kid who broke in got our address off of a check I wrote at a local restaurant. I will certainly think twice when I write checks from now on!

My trainer always said it's a German Shepard with short legs. They're formidable and they had fierce barks. Now don't laugh but...I'm in South of France now and the gypsies are scared of Pumpkin because of her "eye" half blue. Great defense! They run away from her.

Congrats to Max and Moe! They are worth their weight in gold. I'm glad they saved you from the lowlife, bottom-dwelling, scumbag robber.

Our boy, Tank, did that for us 2006 Christmas! We had gone to bed and Tank did his "get out of my yard" bark. I snapped a leash on him and we went after the moron who was trying to break into our cars. Scared the guy right out of his socks. Tank's our "hero dog." Glad to know your two kept you safe, as well!

Oh my god, that's scary someone tried to break in, but thank goodness your lil' guys were there to save the day! They do have a tremendous bark for such small dogs. I'm so very glad they showed that robber who's boss!

I heard an interview with some professional housebreaking criminals, and they said the number one thing they hated was when there was a dog inside. They always left those houses alone! Sorry you had such an exciting event happen and glad those pups were there!

I saw a story from a mag published in the early 50's in which their corgi saved them from being robbed. If fact when the man opened the front door to see what they were barking so late at night they scared the 2 men out front. One robber it a tree and knocked himself out and the corgi went after the other and got him.
