Thanks everyone for the great tips/advice! We just got here in Sedona after a 13-hr drive, we're tired as hell but excited to go out to explore tomorrow :) (Bryson's nose's already in overdrive in this strange-smelling desert air)

Charlie- we'll be in Austin from Tues-Thurs, if we get a break from the family, will definitely love to meet you guys!

Sounds like a great trip! If you're in Austin long enough, Charlie and I would love to meet you at one of the many dog parks here. : - )

Sedona is awesome, the best time to take pics are sun rise and sun sets, could get pretty cold at night.

how fun! i don't know of any doggie friendly places on the way, but this website could tell ya!! http://www.petswelcome.com/ We've used it before & they have some good places!! Have fun & drive safely :)

oooo let me know how much the total bill on gas was! lol =D and have a blast! What a lucky dog!!!! =) I think there was another blog somewhere in the forum on pet friendly hotels!
