Hi Everyone! It's me, Sidney again! Things have been pretty quiet around here lately. I've been going to my obedience classes and some days I pay attention, and some days I am just too distracted. We have a great time, though.

The only excitement came last weekend when one of my toys...I think the humans call it "cat"...snuck out of the house when nobody was looking. See, this cat lives inside only and it not allowed outside. Boy, do I feel lucky because I get to go outside sometimes! Cat must have been tired of me always chasing him. Well, the humans were very worried. They would go outside all the time, calling for Cat and shaking the treat bag. I thought I was going to get extra treats, but NO...they were to try to convince Cat to come home. Pooh. At least me and the old guys got extra walks as we went searching for Cat.

Cat was gone four days, then one afternoon me and the old guys smelled him and we barked at the shed in back where the humans keep their extra stuff. The boy opened the shed door and there was Cat! He was very hungry, and the humans don't know how he got in there but were happy he was home again.

the next day we took our usual walk and old guy Bruce got in trouble. Something smelled delicious on the side of the road, and he rolled around in it. Twice. It was a squashed lizard. Too bad he beat me to it! Here, Bruce wants to talk...

Hey, this is Bruce. I'm 13 years old, and if I want to roll around in a dead lizard, I'm gonna do it! It just smelled way too good and I wanted to bring that smell home with me. I lived with the Marines for awhile and I'm a tough dog. That young one annoys me, but the humans like him so I tolerate him. I don't miss the chance to teach him a lesson, though. He's just much faster than me. Whippersnapper!

Sidney here again. Bruce has gone to take a nap. Now that Cat is back I have my favorite chase toy again, and everyone (escept maybe Cat) is happy. I think Bruce has a good idea and I'll go take a nap too.
