I've never written in the mycorgi.com blog or (any blog really), we just joined recently. My corgi's name is Cha Yen, she's a mixed Pembroke with Australian Shepherd. As you can see from the pictures she definitely picked up more of the Corgi's physical characteristics! When we go on walks, most people can tell that she's a Corgi, but all Corgi owners and lovers can immediately tell she's mixed. She just turned 1 year old 2 weeks ago :)
It's gotten a bit warmer here in Boston so the snow and ice is melting a little bit, thankfully since so many people have neglected to shovel the snow in front of their houses! It makes walking difficult, especially with Cha Yen because she can walk at her regular pace but I have to walk at half speed so that I don't slip on the ice. So we've been playing a lot inside. She absolutely loves the Invincible Rings so someone has to play tug of war with her at least every hour. We sort of play fetch as well, I'll throw something and she'll go get it but she doesn't like to bring it back and she especially does not want to let it go! She also has a couple of small basketballs that my friends and I won at Six Flags over the summer which she likes to kick around. She's punctured one of them, which has now become her favorite because she can pick it up with her teeth now. When the snow is fresh we take Cha Yen out because she absolutely loves to run around in it (and eat it!). Right now though since it's been on the ground for awhile it's pretty dirty and hard. Does anybody have any other indoor games that they play when it's not so pleasant outside?
