Ozu is back to his old, cranky self.  My pace is the rhythm he walks to. And he is walking again.  Two and half weeks ago, his back legs were shaking so much that the little guy was finding it hard to make his way down the street.  Found a vet who does acupuncture...   The first session worked wonders!   Legs straightened and became sturdy.  He could run again.  Went again today.  He is one happy guy!

Woohoo!!!  So happy to hear another great result of acupuncture!  Max has a calcification in his neck.  He couldn't move his head and he was in a lot of pain.  Pain killers were not the answer.  A friend suggested acupuncture so we tried it.  First time he had 8 weekly sessions and that lasted almost 11 months before I noticed it was bothering him again,  had a couple more sessions and he has now been over 1 year without any more adjustments.

Just remember that he will have good days and bad days.  You have to judge the weather and how much he has been doing and give it a couple of days to see if he recovers on his own from a bad day or if he needs a another adjustment.  Does the vet also recommend  an herbal stuff to mix in his food?  Mine does...Max takes if faithfully twice a day and I really think that helps to keep him moving good.  The herbal formulas are mixed for the different areas of the body that is being treated.

I was so impressed that I now go for acupuncture for my back...no more horrendously expensive pain shots that don't last.  I also use an herbal compound from the woman I go to for arthritis in my hands.  I can't believe the difference...no pain and I can move my fingers freely.
