Am leaving country and need to find a good home for my girls...

Hello, we have had an unexpected turn of events happen recently and must now return to our native country Australia. Unfortunately, we cannot afford to bring our furry daughters with us, so we have had to make the heartbreaking decision to re-home them. I thought I would post here on the off chance that a Corgi lover out there may be looking to add to their family or know of someone who is.

Lulu is a sable and white full breed Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She is nine and LOVES children and other dogs.

Kiwi is a Tri-color full breed Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She is 6 months old and also LOVES children and other dogs.

These girls are true Gems, they are so loving, gentle and obedient and they love a good snuggle on the couch.

We are very, very heartbroken to have to be doing this.

If anyone out there is interested, Please email me. hughes.janehughes@gmail.com

I will post pics as soon as I can.

Kenneth - did you end up taking these two?

Thanks to everyone for your kind words. Yes it is very expensive to bring furry children to a new country, and I'm not sure Lulu would survive the 180 days in quarrantine....she's sooo spoiled!!!
I really appreciate everyone's input.

Hey Jane, Australia was once my home too, as a matter of fact, I loved to the US from Australia back in 97. I understand how much it cost to move your home back and take the dogs with you, not to mention the dumb 180 days quarantine rule, I can only imagine how painful it is for you to make this decision. I've notified members in VA about this, hopefully someone can make this change more pleasant for you. All the best to you both!

We would love to possibly take both the girls. We currently have 3 Tri's and live in Powhatan on 2 acres and a 3000 sq house where they would have plenty of room. Please contact me a c33704@aol.com or call me at 804-245-7800 Chris.

Awww :-\ I'm sad that you can't take them with you. It breaks my heart. I would take one in a heartbeat, but I don't think we can afford to keep them right now. In the future we will, but right now I know it would be hard. Will they be staying together? I know I couldn't choose between them. they are both really adorable. I am so sorry that you can't take them with you.
