I sure hope it all works out. Years ago growing up I had a dog w/heartworm..he did well and recovered just fine.

The only thing that I know is the number to contact the animal control officer. You'd have to leave your information there and she'll call you back. I've been trying to talk to her but her day is going crazy as she walked up on to a terrible scene (and I can't go much into that.) Or you could give me your information and I could pass it to her.

Let us know what the process is to sponsor. I would be willing to help out as well. The good thing is this little guy is where he needs to be to get the help he needs. The hardest part is keeping them quiet. Good luck and let us all know what we can do to help.--Kristen

Oh no!! I just answered your other post. : ( That's sad. They will have to keep it longer for treatment and more exams to see how it goes. It takes some weeks for the infestation to be controlled and eliminated. If it's a big one, it might need surgery and in the worst cases, just wait for "the moment" to come. How sad, hopefully he still on early stages and can make a full recovery. I wish him the best.
