Funny story time!

Since I live in an apartment (and it has been so hot- stupid drought), I regularly take Camden to the local dog park in the evenings. This particular evening, Camden & I stayed on the little dog area of the park since Camden didn't seem to like a particular dog. He definitely was the big boy in comparison to the Yorkies and dachshunds.

At one point, a stuffing free toy was added to the mix. Initially, an eight pound dachshund named Bella had the toy. Camden stole it when she was distracted. When his chewing got a bit too intense (Camden will eat toys if he isn't supervised), I took it away and tossed it back to Bella. Camden ran for it, and the two dogs both had a hold of it on separate ends. The game of tug of war began (as did the bets from the humans observing). At one point, the two of them were running side by side attached by the toy in their mouths. After almost 10 mins of tugging, Camden adjusted and Bella took off with the toy.

My 30 lbs corgi lost to a dog more than 3 times smaller than him. To say the least, Bella was quite proud of herself. I wish I had my camera that day.
