Since the arrival of Lilly, I’m a busy little bee. She is so hyper right now and seems to never run out of energy, but a puppy will be a puppy! She's the first corgi and dog I’ve had, since I grew up with cats and a few fish from the fair that lasted only a few weeks.. If I was lucky. Those little guys never lasted past the car ride home. Anyway, since my little girl is new to my house and getting use to everything, including my seven year old fluff ball cat Snickers, she’s been doing well but she’s like having another job, but I’m 110% positive she’s worth every second!
In school, I’ve only been there a month and adjusting. I’m social, just not in new situations. I love my Bible teacher, Ms.Caroll she's a total cat lady (I go to a Christian school) and one day I said I was got a corgi puppy, and she said, "OOH MY GOODNESS NO! A CORGI?! WHY CORGIS ARE MY FAVORITE! NOW I JUST HAVE TO SEE THIS LITTLE CREATURE". Basically, she was just plain getting hysterical at this point. Later, I found out she was also my cougar connections leader (Its a mandatory thing when a random group of students get together and talk with a "cougar leader" to well I guess lead in conversation) and she brought up Lilly. She said, "Oh Mackenzie, could I see a picture of Lilly?", so I pulled out my phone and showed her. Oh.My.Gosh. She started AWWWWWWW-ing so much and said things like "Ohh those little legs!", "Ooh that face!". Now everyone saw a picture of her and before class ended, she reminded me again about how she wanted to see her. So I pinky promised her I would bring Lilly to see her. And so the Lilly Ms.Caroll saga begins..
I brought Lilly one day after school, and waited for Ms.Caroll outside. All of the students come out and Lily becomes a ham! lol! She was loving the attention and was giving puppy kisses left and right! It was great! Then after awhile one of my friends come down and pets her and said, "Ms.Caroll wants to see her, doesnt she? Oh shes gonna have a meltdown or have a heart attack". She was right, well kinda. Ms.Caroll put her hands on her mouth, put her head down for a second with her short wispy hair flopping down and laughed with joy. Im pretty sure Ms.Caroll had a minor heart attack, and Lilly has a new best friend! So maybe teachers and Corgis make a good mix, even if shes OCD about cats.
