Interesting.  There was a cover article in the Journal Science once, a Great Dane beside a Chihuahua.  Largest size difference of any vertebrate species.  A growth factor inhibitor gene (deleted in Danes).

The leg dwarfing gene for corgis is different.  So I looked at these long legs and thought, "NOT 1/2 corgi!"

The coat pattern is common, you can see it in many breeds, the tricolor also.

Yes, yes corgis are much better short.
