Saw this on MSNBC.
Three top brands of chicken jerky treats were among those most recently cited by pet owners and veterinarians in complaints of harm, FDA records obtained by msnbc.com showed. They included Waggin’ Train and Canyon Creek Ranch brands produced by Nestle Purina PetCare Co., and Milo’s Kitchen Home-style Dog Treats, produced by the Del Monte Corp.
Import data compiled by the firm ImportGenius showed that Waggin' Train and Canyon Creek Ranch treats are produced and supplied by JOC Great Wall Corp. Ltd. of Nanjing, China.

We almost lost or senior corgi mix by feeding him chicken jerky from China. The poisons were causing his kidneys to fail. We caught it in time, but he's on a special renal formula food now. He's going strong at 15!
We've been trying to find the mystery cause of Dante's diarrhea, with no luck. When I read about the jerky this morning, it clicked. One of their favorite treats are some CCR jerky packs that were given to us by a friend. I am not giving them any more, and plan on reporting our experience. I had completely forgotten about the jerky issues from a few years ago, or I never would have given them the treats in the first place.
