Choosing Our Corgi Baby Girl: Which One Is Tegwen?

Please help us decide which one is Tegwen...
The red one is my son's favorite, but there are two others. Please vote for the...

1) Two-Week-Old Red One

2) Two-Week-Old Tricolor, or

3) Younger Tricolor--less than a week old! (from another litter)

If you want to email me, or post a comment, it would be much appreciated! TIA :)

We are told that we will have to wait and see about fluffies, shy pups, etc., but the personalities so far on these three little girls are so wonderful, and their mothers are lovely.

While they were sleeping in our arms, I almost wished that we already had a ranch and could have one of each color.

Will post more photos the next time we visit the pups!

Hey Skeez,

My family was just visiting and I kissed my new boy. He liked it. I want to play in the mud, wish I could have seen you! Thanks for the tip about the bird. My human mom posted more photos and videos. I like yours, too.

Hey, Teggie

I'm excited about you having let your humans spot you for their very own. You sound like a wonderful girl. I likes girrlz . . . well, an boyz too, but grrlz are prettier, in my opinion--I, however, am handsome!!! Which I hope makes the grrlz like me!! Momma sez "whatever!" You sound like you are already having fun and getting your human brother in line, as is only right.

How neat to live near the water. We has a lake about 2 mi from home wif a pretty good trail (the muddy parts are my faves--Momma is not so thrilled about them). Momma has also digged a 15x9' pond here--she says it's a garden pond, but I thinks it is my personal frog circus. I love to sneak up on them; I never have caughted any though because they have those eyes that look behind their heads! My angel sister, The Divine Miss Emily, pushed our dog friend Rachael into the pond last summer . . . it was funny, except for all the mud. Momma again was not very excited.

But this week I got the Mud First Best in Show award here, as I told you in my last note. I has to be on my best behavior for a while till Momma forgets I took a mud bath . . .

Sounds like you're going to be living in a home like mine: many species. I have been well-trained by Momma's goffin cockatoo--my nose is now a respecter of all fowl, large and small, even our chickens (I'd like to herds them, but Momma won't let me in their hen house).

Keep on sending us news and putting up your lovely piktures.

Thank you Skeezix, you give great advice. My name means fair and blessed. My mom called me a little princess. Well, I am independent and a little cautious--not a bit shy!--don't want to look like a nutbrained boy. In fact, the boy who jumps me gets to learn what my teeth are for, snap! I'm pretty, which means I act poised and play nice. Love to cuddle! My new human brother is nice, he helps me out when I am too small to do it all. I trained him in five minutes, no problem.

The tris and fluffy are taken now, my family chose me a couple of weeks ago when the others began getting visited. It's fun on the farm, but I think I will like living on the water, too! I hear we will go fishing. Do fish taste like leaves or sticks?

Luv,
Teggie

Wasn't there a black one that rolled over for a belly tub with your son.

Hi, Teggie

We hope your visit with your humans today is lots of fun. We know that the family who's the right one for you will pick you for sure. They'll know you by your personality and how you feel about them as the weeks go by. In the meantime, play with your siblings when your humans aren't there. You'll soon be going to your wonderful forever home.

Mom said to tell you that she found me the very last day she was with all of us to pick me! She had been coming to see us a lot while we were babies, but I didn't tell her who I was till that last day, and then she knew for sure I was SKEEZIX!!!! And we went home and have lived happily ever after. She is especially good with the dog cookies . . . but she does "give" me baths, like last week when I was completely covered in mud. I don't quite understand why she calls it "giving" me a bath? Cuz it sure doesn't seem like much of a gift to me. Humans, you will learn, Teggie, can sometimes be impossible to figure out.

Yes, very wise, Shelly! My boy will love any puppy, but there will be one whose personality leaps up and licks his nose, so to speak. What I love about the Corgi personality is that they tend to all be so quick to make me laugh and love them, so I think we will do OK with any one of the three. My son showed the photos of the red one to his friends for bring you pet to school day, which was my distraction from his wanting to bring his lovebird to school--no way!!! LOL

Wow -- you have a tough choice. I'm partial to tris but just adopted a red (who by the way is a little troublesome). If your son is the one who will be really working with the new pup -- I'd let him choose (as long as the personality is a good fit). Good luck. No matter which one you choose, I'm sure your new addition will bring much fun and happiness to you family.

Yes, we need all three. :) I think that, like yours, our little girl will choose us. My son has the final say, of course. Glad someone else validates that warm puppy smell I like so much. Thanks for the help! We may end up with another tri yet...
