Choosing Our Corgi Baby Girl: Which One Is Tegwen?

Please help us decide which one is Tegwen...
The red one is my son's favorite, but there are two others. Please vote for the...

1) Two-Week-Old Red One

2) Two-Week-Old Tricolor, or

3) Younger Tricolor--less than a week old! (from another litter)

If you want to email me, or post a comment, it would be much appreciated! TIA :)

We are told that we will have to wait and see about fluffies, shy pups, etc., but the personalities so far on these three little girls are so wonderful, and their mothers are lovely.

While they were sleeping in our arms, I almost wished that we already had a ranch and could have one of each color.

Will post more photos the next time we visit the pups!

Gosh, how to choose! I'd want to "agree" to one, but shove the other two under my coat and sneak them all in the front door! But knowing the mom is good, and seeing how they develop over the next couple of weeks will firm it up for you. When I went to see the litter I was choosing from, I thought I wanted a red/white -- until this little tri looked me in the eyes and said, excuse me, but I'm your guy. And he was, too -- not too rambunctious, but not too shy, just affable, easy going, perfect for my life style. I LOVE puppy smell -- that sort of warm milky scent. Maybe I'll take the ones you don't.....;-)

Jack seems like the perfect Corgi! By the one that smells the best, do you mean the one who has the best sniffer? LOL Speaking of smells, I just love the way the little puppies smell like Duncan Donuts coffee until they are weaned. Guess I'm weird, but I think all puppies smell good. Love your photos of Jack, he is beautiful!

I wish I could give you advice on which puppy to choose. Our youngest, Jack, seemed to be the best of the bunch! Turns out his tail actually wags, his legs are longish, his knees are knobby, his ears are HUGE and he's a maniac-energy ball-freak show. That said, I'd cry my eyes out if this ever-so-imperfect boy wasn't at my side everyday. He's loyal, smart and a cuddle bug. Pick the one that smells the best! :)

Thanks for the help! Yes, of course, I think all three need to come home with us... In fact, there is a nice 20 acre mini-ranch for sale right near here. LOL I agree about the personality being most important. We chose the ones with the best demeanor thus far, but they don't really have their eyes open yet. The mother of the first two is amazing, though, just a perfect Corgi, and her babies are happy butterballs. We are really excited about visiting the babies again when their personalities begin to emerge. Will post photos!

I think the choice is an easy one. Although, everyone knows that tri colors are the smartest, the boy wants the red one. Who's puppy is it going to be? If you can't answer that question with out thinking about it you have to take all three. There you have it.

You may need to wait a few weeks to see their personalities. All three pups are adorable, but personality is most important. Enjoy you new Tegwen!

Thank you, Mariana, for the kind words and really great advice. I want my son to be involved, but warned him that we will have to make sure that the pup we bring into our family will be happy with our family's active lifestyle. I guess the pup's personality is what I mean. He's hoping for a little girl who likes to learn lots of tricks! By the way, I love your photo. :)

Aw, they're so cute! I would advise waiting until you can see their personalities. Whatever personality fits your family the best should be Tegwen. I like the name! Also, I love that you're involving your son in the process. That's so wonderful.
