So Ruby and I attended the Midwest Corgi Picnic. It was fantastic! We had a great time. Ruby competed in the fun match and I was so proud of her. She had some issues with the table but other than that she was great!  I think we may do some more fun matches in the future.

We also went to Pet Pride with a good friend and we had a great time. Ruby even go a spray on tattoo of an anchor. Petsmart was doing them and it was free so why not! We got a ton of free stuff and I bought Ruby a braided bullystick from Three Dog Bakery. We sat and watched the dog talent show they had. It was really great. We also ended up in two different local papers. 

Ruby and I also have been watching the world cup. Soccer balls are Ruby's favorite toy and she enjoys watching them running around on tv. She's also sporting a USA bandana. 

We're planning on taking the CGC in November at the local pet expo. I think Ruby is ready for it now but we're going to the expo anyway. Plus she still has moments where she isn't perfect but that's to be expected. I don't want to start agility until we move due to the fact that I don't want to start training until then. Also we might start doing rallys. 

Also Ruby and I are joining the Dog Scouts. It's just like the Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts but for dogs. Since Ruby is such a wilderness corg, I figured it would be perfect for her. She has to take a test before she's technically a dog scout but we're working on here training for it and we get to go to a couple of the meetings before then. We've also joined a local hiking group.

We haven't been able to go trailing running like we enjoy to here lately due to the crappy weather happening. It's either storming here or so humid that you can't breathe but that's Indiana summers for you. 

So that's what we've been up to.
