Dear Weeders

Momma took Daisy to the doctor this morning for her surgery. It was an early morning trip. An' Daisy didn't like riding for the first 30 minutes; she shivered and was scared. But after Momma petted her a bunch an' talked wif her, Daisy wents to sleep, whitch was verwy good.

Momma got Daisy to the hospital about 8:45 and den Momma spended the day in Winston-Salem trying not to worry so much. She tried to distract herself by going to PetSmart an' she boughted us all cookies. Then she wents to the bookstore and managed to spend lots of time with the books, drinking coffee, eating oreo cheesecake, and reading. Well, she still hadn't used up all her day, so she read some more in da bookstore and boughted a bunch of books, even seberal ones wif corgis in 'em: some Sneaky Pie Browns an' one called Titus Rules. She saids she will weed the Titus book to us.

An' it was HOT so she couldn't nap in the car, which was all full up wif things from Sam's, excep' for where Daisy's crate was. So she went an' had more coffee an' read.

Finally at 4:30 all the time was passed an' Momma could picks up Daisy. The doctor was really nice an' was pleased wif the surgery.

Daisy has a cone on and her poor wittle face is puffy an' shaved, her eye iz swollen, an' she has stitches in her mouf an' a couple on her cheek. She sleeped all da way home an' now is sleeping on our sofa by Momma. I is on the computer typering this blawg post for you, Dear Weeders.

Daisy will have pain medications, antibiotics, an some other meds for the nex' week and den Momma has to takes her back to see the surgeon for a check up. We knowz it will turn out good.
