You'll be able to find a cab at the airport, but I would google and write down a couple of cab company numbers for the trip back, as you probably won't see any on-street in North Richland Hills. There's also various websites that can give you ideas for things to do... whether you want to actually drive over to Dallas or stay around Forth Worth. As for NRH itself, I don't know if there's much for sight-seeing unless you just want to go see a movie or something. Always recommend yelp.com to look for good restaurants to go to. The fort worth zoo is pretty good though, and that's downtown. There's also the Kendall art museum, but I do NOT recommend the Ft Worth nature and science museum. The Dallas one is much better.

Oh just what that area might be like, plenty of cabs out the airport, things to do with a 16 year old type of things.

Neither one is very far from the airport, but really more towards the Ft Worth side than Dallas. What kind of pointers are you looking for? And how long are you staying?
