I've hesitated mentioning this because, honestly, I hate listening to myself and I haven't heard the episode in question.
I have been a longtime listener to a podcast called The Petcast, and I sorta know the hosts -- well, sorta, in that if you're a fan of a show for as long as my sister and I have been, the hosts sorta figure out who you are. So, anyhoo, over the years I've called in about my cat's persistent flea problem, my daughter's cockatiel issues, and a year or so ago, I was interviewed about my preparations for getting a puppy someday. During the Christmas holidays, the Petcast needed some filler content, and they asked me if I would be willing to give an update on my puppy search --
And, hey, Doris Daylily is my favorite topic, as well as being my favorite current puppy, so you know I said yes.
The episode has now posted -- it's available on
The Petcast website, and iTunes, and I forget where else. It's episode number 190 and has a picture you'll recognize, I think, from MyCorgi.com! I know I mentioned this site, but I can't remember if I finished my thought process because I was going to say that people here will post for special-needs corgis who need rescuing. I don't think I finished the thought. I'm not sure. As I said at the top of this blog post, I don't like listening to myself. But at least there's another photo of a corgi out there in the world somewhere!
