My Ringo has Epilepsy.  We are still trying to get control of it with medication.  It is the most horrible thing to watch knowing that there is nothing you can do about it when the ugly monster rears its head.

My first Irish wolfhound had seizures, she slammed her head twice quite hard and began having them after those accidents.  Not sure it was epilepsy but they were scary for both of us and not knowing when it would happen would keep me on edge.

so awful any human or furbaby has to go through awful seizures.  as a kid i remember watching my mom when she had seizures, feeling helpless..  she always told us not to help her cause she was afraid of hurting us, she pretty much was able to control herself.  :(

One of mine has seizures, though we aren't sure it's epilepsy.   Never knowing when (or how bad) a seizure will be is the tough part.
