Optimus is getting pretty good about not going inside anymore (he's about 3.5 months old now). We even put him on these pills we got from Petco to help him stop eating his own poo. The only real problem we're having is that he's not really telling us when he needs to go out yet. We can tell when he starts sniffing around a certain way, it's time to go out, but we need something more obvious than that in case we're busy with something and can't keep a constant eye on him. We have 2 doors in our apartment, our front door and a back sliding glass door. Either door would be fine for him to bark at or sit by when he needs to go, but right now he just sniffs around. Are there any tricks we could use to maybe help him be more vocal about when he needs to go?
p.s. We're also pretty good about trying to be preemptive. He goes out immediately after naps and shortly after meals and pretty regularly at about hour intervals (give or take about 30 min).
