Today PIcadilly had her first bath here at her new forever home. IT wasn't her first bath, but it was the first bath I had ever given a dog. Luckily my girlfriend was there to walk me through it. She took it great except she looked miserable while standing there like a good bath taker. It was funny though when she got out and started rubbing her body all over the ground.

The rubbing on the ground is typical of all dogs. No worries. :)

I already have the furminator, she loves it and just lays there with a smile the whole time I furminate her.

! I usually just put Ollie in the shower with me; I wet him down, soap him up and take my shower as normal.. by the end, he's rinsed clean and it only takes about 3 mins more than my regular shower :) I am so glad I invested in a large microfiber towel.... it soaks up the majority of the water on Ollie's fur so it doesn't end up shaken or rubbed around all over. For helping to prevent the fur-bomb that a freshly bathed corgi can bring, it really helps to do a good job furminating (a Furminator w/ ejector is a godsend if you don't already have one!) and it keeps Ollie's fur very very soft!

Congrats on your new girl! She's a cutie :)

Sounds like a good experience for everyone. We lay big towels all over the bathroom floor and let Twinkie run around to her heart's desire. She loves it. Don't forget to gently dry the ears:)
