Getting even for not going

My little corgi (18lbs full grown ) has been going on runs with me every night and we are averageing about 5 miles a night. But running in the desert and on gravel roads have left her feet soar and raw, so lately she has been staying home healing ( and not happy about it). While i was getting ready for a run the other night she was so happy and excited but got left at home. So then she decided to get even and let me know that she was not happy and so she chewed up 4 magazines all over the house and was laying on the kitchen table when I got back home. I guess next time she is gonna have to stay in the kennel when I run. I did have to laugh a little and I hope you fellow corgi owners get a little laugh at this too.

Comment by Donna and Lilly on July 20, 2012 at 7:00pm: I did have to chuckle...that is so like them!! You may want to try a product called EQyss mega-tek pet rebuilder. It is for the skin coat and paws. My daughters corgi ripped his pads while he was sheep herding, and this cream was almost instant relief. It also helps toughen them as well. Had really good luck with it! She will be back running with you in no time!!
