The little guy on the right is coming home with me on June 16th! I went to visit the breeder yesterday with requests to see just the males, as I didn't want a female to sway my decision on getting a male puppy. These were the two boys, they are going to be 4 weeks old on Sunday. The boy on the left was way bigger than the one on the right, but they were both so sweet, still a little young to see a temperament though, they both just wanted to be snuggled into my neck when I held them. I am not sure if they will be sable but they both had black fur on their back and ears.
I was a little disappointed at how my breeder rushed me out, I drove out three hours to spend 5 minutes with the puppies and to be told she had other things to do so it needed to be quick. To be fair, I did tell her I would be around by noon, and showed up at 12:45 as I needed to put more gas in my car and my mom and sister were with me and wanted to stop for a quick lunch. She is always so nice when I talk to her through email or facebook. Regardless, I am happy with my puppy, and her facilities seemed fine to me, her husband owns an excavating company, so you had to drive through his business area to get to their house to get to their puppy area, on a farm area.
I feel bad choosing a puppy on his looks, but that was all I had to go by at that point and I had the pick of the litter and I would not have the chance to drive out again until the day we pick him up. I know I could have waited for her to tell me about the temperament as it really develops but I was also really excited in the moment, I actually almost cried (I'm such a baby!) when I first saw them, and from the pictures I knew I wanted the one I chose beforehand. Both puppies were cute and sweet, but I went with the one on the right in the end. He may be the runt of the litter but the breeder says he has plenty of time to catch up.
As far as the name goes, I am still waiting on that, I have a long list with 'Kip' being my favorite, as I wanted an engineering related name (I am studying civil engineering) and a kip is unit of measurement used by engineers, but my boyfriend wants Tyrion (from the Game of Thrones). But we are waiting to really meet him to see if he is a Kip, a Tyrion, or any other name.

Very cute!!!
What pretty babies!!! No matter his temperament you will love him and how you raise him will make a big impact. The time will seem like forever but it will go fast preparing for and puppy proofing your home. You can name him one thing for his AKC papers, unless the breeder has reserved that right and use something else for his call name. Get to know him a bit..a name may suggest it's self.
