Hello all. I am happy to say that after over a year of visiting this site, getting advice, investigating breeders, we have finally brought home our first Pembroke, Moriarty. Hope to share more with you all in the future. We are located in Chicago, also, and would love to meet any other owners nearby!

Look at that face!  Big congratulations.  I'll never forget the day I brought home my first Corgi.  It was 20 years ago, but I remember it very vividly.  ENJOY, ENJOY, ENJOY!

Congratulations, he is a beauty!  You are in for some wonderful experiences.  He won't alway be a perfect little angel, but that's part of the Corgi charm.

While you are busy training him, he will also be busy training you!

Funny, he doesn't look like a criminal mastermind. In fact, he looks like a lover boy.  Congratulations!!

Oh. My. Goodness. When we first got our girls, we ran into another Corgi owner at the vet and she said "nothing cuter than a corgi puppy!" she was right!

Congrats and welcome! John is right! cute alert!

Oh please don't post photos like that without a Cute Warning. I start twitching and going into conniptions...
Be very deliberate and disciplined about training; it will all pay off.
Al & Gwynn recommend volleyballs or Nile Jr. childrens' basketballs (7-8"). Rummage sales. You'll need an air pump and inflation needle.
