So, as we all know, the winter can be brutal on your corgi's paws. The bitterly cold snow, the rock salt, and the rough and icy surfaces that seem to come up everywhere on walks. With all the snow showering down on us in Westchester, Bella's been working extra hard to maneuver her short stocky body through the 1-2 feet of snow. However, I've calmed down knowing we have a secret weapon against the coldness. Musher's Secret.
I cannot stress how much I absolutely LOVE this product. It works well, does't track into the house, and is comfortable for the dog to have on her footpads. Made with 100% natural waxes, this thick substance is so easy to apply. Not to mention, it smells good too! I very HIGHLY recommend this product to the owners on MyCorgi, because it was worth every penny keeping Bella's paw pads in perfect condition. You can purchase this by clicking Here.

Our corgi has never been one to like anything that touches the pads of his feet. He's very picky. We actually got him ice booties. He was actually really content with wearing them even at first he was a little awkward. I don't know if that's something else you'd like to consider using or not, but it seems to work for us. :)
By the time Bella comes back inside, the wax is usually off from her walking in the snow so much. But otherwise, I usually take a warm washcloth/paper towel and wipe her paws to get extra wax off. Hope this helped. :)
So how does it eventually come off? Does it absorb in the skin or goes out when they walk? Does it say how long it's good for after an application?
I checked the link but doesn't give much details. Guess Google might help. :)
