Penny was spayed on Wednesday and did very well. They tell you no running, jumping, playing for 7-10 days after and I'm concerned because in order for me to do that with Penny I'd have to glue her to the floor! I have tried to keep her off the couch but she sneaks when I'm not looking...and I bought a stair to help her off the bed...which she ignored and just jumped off the normal way! How did your corgi's do after their surgery...any advice on how strict I should be with the activity instructions? I don't want her to hurt herself but also don't want to have to leash her to my side either! Thanks for any advice you can give!

oh Teagen was terrible to keep inactive after the 3rd day when we didn't have anymore rymadil she was off and running no slowing her down. her incision healed qiuckly though and her stitches came out 7 days after the spay!! the extra 20.00 dollars I paid to have the incision treated with a laser was well worth it =) so good luck!! However my Mom's new lad puppy tore her stiches out( by chewing) and had to have staples put in so it can go either way I guess
