Hi, My wonderful Tia is eight. As I am a first time dog owner and corgi owner I have heard different things on an average life span for corgi's. Does anyone have any knowledge? I'm going to call the vet regarding when to change food. Any ideas? Thanks!

just seeing this thread now.  good question!  Sadly our cardi Lance only made it to 8, the question never entered my mind!  I guess we should ask the vet for our Pembroke Tucker since he is now 8.

I met a gal while walking Corie, that said her mom's Corgi was 17!

I work at a vet office and I know that we tell owners to start changing their pets food over to a senior diet at the age of 7.

I've heard between 12 and 15 years. I personally met a corgi that its owner claimed was a whopping 19 years old.
