This week I was out walking my dog in the field a bit away from home and decided to go onto the street at the back just to give him a change of scenery. When walking I choose to go to the left when posed with a fork then heard some barking. There was an older lady in her front yard digging maple saplings who saw Loki and was excited to see a corgi puppy. She then told me she had a Cardigan in the back yard, and we decided to let them play together. He had a lot of fun. This is also the first time I've seen a Cardi, I had wanted one but got a Pembroke as they were available (not that I regret it)

Corgis play funny, the bigger one would run and sort of body check, run to be chased and all in all, a lot of running. More so than the 'puppy death match' most dogs play with all claws jumping and teeth. when the older dog (3yrs) got tired he would just lay splayed, unfortunately Loki took this as his chance to hump (5 months). Nothing major really I just removed him, no one was upset as we all know how dogs get.

It was really cool to see another corgi, especially a grown one to give me a better indicator of size. Albeit Cardis get a little bigger right? This one was only about 33 pounds or so. Will have to take them back around there sometime soon to play again. The owner had spied me before walking him apparently and wanted to meet us. Was neat to see how they play with each other.
