Wow -- is there anything dogs can't do? (Okay, maybe drive the car, but my two Corgis have hatched a plan whereby Ethel will drive while Bertie works the pedals, once Ethel has figured out how to hotwire the car.) I saw a TV show a while back about dogs actually trained as "cancer sniffers" -- apparently they can detect subtle changes in body chemistry (via the breath or sweat), and so be aware of cancers long before any known medical tests would detect the cancer. Gotta love 'em.
