Newest discovery today... pine cones.
Every time I've taken Finnley out today he casually walks out, does his business, then casually explores, then out of no where I see him take off. I knew exactly what he had grabbed. Now he was making a run for it to the house. I let him munch on it for just a few minutes because I don't think it's smart to let him chew on it and get those tiny pieces stuck in his throat. He sure looks funny carrying it around though. Such a cutie.
Let's see what else is on my mind... OH! I would like to get Finnley a buddy. I think he'd love to have a buddy to play with and what not. I love Corgis and reading all these blogs about Corgis I see a trend. They all have 2 corgis. I really would like to get another but the cost is kind of high. It would be really awesome to have a red one or cardigan. What are some pluses to having 2 corgis? I'd like to really consider this.

Haha, my little Ellie just discovered pine cones a couple of days ago, too. She tries to act like they aren't there until I turn my head, and then she zooms and pounces! So cute to see another little corgi has the same idea!
I hear you about wanting another corgi. I keep describing what I want my next corgi to be, even though I've said for years I wouldn't have more than two dogs! It's going to be really hard not getting another one. If I were you, though, I would wait until your current pup is an adult (or close to it) before getting another dog. My eskimo dog is going to be 3 on Aug. 1st and I'm so glad he's an adult. He takes good care of our little Ellie and it's nice not having to worry about two dogs having potty accidents in the house (or chewing things they aren't supposed to!)
Thanks Ellen,
They really are like potato chips. They are so adorable and I would like Finnley to have a buddy to keep him entertained. I would love to rescue one. I'll have to keep a look out :)
I think two is easier than one...they keep each other company, too! Rather than getting a
puppy from a breeder, which can be pricey (awesome, but pricey) you could check out the corgi rescues, petfinder, etc and possibly get a wonderful new buddy for Finnley! Also, on this site, many corgis are posted that need a loving home.
