Starting puppy class on Monday!
Puppy class is going very well. Crosby stands at attention very well, sits, walks fairly well on leash, and comes when called even out of playgroup. I am struggling with the down command though. How do you get a dog that is so low to the ground to lie down?

I had the same problem with Spartan when I started training him basic commands and someone told me you can sit on the floor with one of your legs bent up. Hold a treat on one end and when he goes down to go under and is down you say lay or laydown and give him the treat. it took him a few days but, he got it eventually.

Yay! I loved Puppy Kindergarten with Sky, it was so fun and he was definitely the smartest in the class! ;) I can't wait to do it with Lyla too. Where are you taking it at?
