Ramsey's tumor is inoperable, and has become painful. Over the past couple weeks I've asked him to let me know when it's time and the other day he did. So today we're going to see Dr. Julie and we'll help him over the Bridge. Most of you know how difficult this is, but also how compassionate. I'll try to post some pictures and stories of our great time together. Please keep us in your prayers.

Dennis has said it beautifully.  Your choice shows your love for Ramsey.  Please let that give some comfort to you and remember you are in the prayers of all of us.

To be with is family when he crosses over is IMO the best thing anyone can do.   My wife can't deal with this but I've stayed over when we helped our 2 year old cat with a massive ernia.   It's tough but when my times comes I wouldn't want to be alone.     Such a sense of relief when the suffering and pain is no longer present.

Yesterday evening we had our first snow and it was beautiful.    As I looked back I took a look at the foot prints we were making and realized that one day, when our time comes, we'll continue making those foot prints again.

God bless his little soul.

You are so right, they do let you know if you ask.  They are not afraid to let go, as most people are.  It is a loving thing you are doing for him.  Hugs from me.
