Riley is back home for now

Thank you everyone for all for the kind words of care and support. Riley is doing much better tonight. He has his spark back in his eyes, and does not look like an old man anymore. We opted to bring him home tonight, rather than leave him unattended at the Vet in the event he has any overnight episodes that require care. He has not had any vomiting or diarrhea since very early this morning, and x-rays and bloodwork look good. He is resting quietly in familiar surroundings with Sadie at his side. We still need to take him back to the Vet tomorrow morning for a final follow up and the rest of his IV Fluids, but it's great to have him back home. 80% of this bill which will most likely top $1000 will be covered by his health insurance, so good news all the way around. Thanks again to all of the supporters who were pullin' for him. I'll give another update tomorrow. Right now all I want to do is take a nap. Been up since 0330.
